What obstacles do you think people your age may have to overcome which were not present in your parent’s generation?

I believe they’re many obstacles that people my age have to face that were not present in my parent’s generation.

Technology is an example of one those obstacles. Technology is an obstacle in our lives today because we have to constantly learn about it and use it. We have to make sure we keep up with the latest technology because knowledge of it may be required in many workplaces. Our parents did not have to face this obstacle because the technology then was not as advanced.

Another obstacle that we face is high gas prices. Many people my age are in need of cars because they need to get from one place to another. They’re unable to purchase a car because they will not be able to purchase gas for the car. Gas prices are extremely high and they’re no signs of a decrease. Our parents did not have to face this obstacle because the gas prices in their generation where extremely low, so gas was affordable.

Low demand for unskilled workers is also an obstacle we have to face. They're not many job opportunities available for unskilled people. People who are not interested in education will have a really hard time trying to provide for themselves because they’re very less jobs that available for people who are not educated. Our Parents did not have to face this obstacle because in their generation there were many jobs for people who were not educated and were unskilled.

As generations go by a lot of things tend to change like the lifestyles of people. People start to live there lives differently and come across new obstacles and problems.

  1. The blog adresses the prompt fairly well. The point of the blog is established clearly, it provides adequate context, provides room for response but it doesn't refer to the text at all. Please refer to the text next time.
